Manuscript, in a single hand, of thirty-seven annotated original poems. Titles include "The Progress of Satire," "The Progress of Affection," "To a Lady at Bath who had consulted Mrs. Williams, the Fortune teller," and "Elegy on the Death of Dr. Joseph Warton." The collection also includes a humorous poem titled "Doggerel Epistle, to John Taylor Esqr, on the delay of publishing in the True Briton the Addresses spoken at the Anniversary of the Literary Fund (April 27th 1800) by Mr. Fitzgerald & the Author;" elsewhere, the author notes that a poem titled "Meditation-An Elegy" was "Written at Upton (near Windsor) the Church-Yard of which is supposed to be the sport described by Gray in his Elegy."
